I have a new 2015 ram sport. Every time I'm waiting inside with the key not in the ignition, I keep hearing a scratchy sound that won't stop and a sound that sounds like a CD is coming in and out, (no CD player installed) any one else hearing this sound? Should i be worried?
Do you have an 8.4 radio?

Its probably the hard drive for your radio...

Mine does the same thing. When the vehicle is off and only when the radio is plugged in. Two separate 8.4 radios. Is yours a factory installed radio?

It won't. Mine was added but as soon as the radio gets plugged in that noise begins. Both an 8.4 RA3 and RA4 made that noise. It goes away and comes back randomly.

Yup, just the hard drive doing it's thing. Nothing to worry about. Those radios are basically a computer. Listen to your house computer, it does the same thing.

I have the RA2 and mine does this , it's strange but it appears not to be an issue . My buddy has a 2015 with an aftermarket radio installed his makes a diff sound than mine not nearly as identifiable , but his has to be in ACC .

2015 sports have an keyed ignition? My 2014 has push button and nothing else. You will hear a lot of noises in the truck. From the HD in the head unit to the AC unit moving from fresh to circulate. Hell you might even hear the people ******* in the bed.

8.4 radios dont have a hard drive, its all flash storage. Mine only does the freaky noise a few seconds after I shut the truck down. I've had my hands on 3 different RA4 radios and they all "chirped."

I have a 15 express with an aftermarket radio and I hear things too. I think it's the blend door on the a.c. Lasts about 10 sec.

It's not the blend doors. On mine it sounds similar to what you hear on a AM radio station with poor reception.
