Truly I am stumped. Problems started a few weeks ago. It had rained for a couple days and then the next dry day I went out to pick up a friend, I got to his house all good. Truck wouldn't start when we went to leave. Towed to a shop and had the starter replaced.
Truck worked once after that, then rained again, and truck wouldnt start for 3 days. I towed it AGAIN to the shop, where the next day they went to start it and it functioned perfectly.
Got the truck back. Seemed to work for 2 more days.
Truck again wont start, I noticed now the F28, F29, F30 fuses are all blown (these are all towing fuses which I never use). take out the fuses and replace battery and the truck starts up!

Truck then seems to work great for about a week, until last night where it poured rain all day...truck wont start. At ALL. NO power. FOBS not working, cant even get the dash lights to come on if I try to open the door without the key.
I havent found any exposed wires or things related like that.

maybe truck is shorting out?

I need to still today now, go open the truck, check my battery voltage and start from there....

Is there something I am not thinking of? Something to check?

Thanks guys

If I remember correctly, wasn’t there a post where something on the back under the rear glass could get wet from a leaking window or third brake light?

The radio frequency hub.

Fobs not working is a clue that points to this being a good direction to start in. Stains on the headliner and/or wet carpet in the bottom of the storage cubbyholes are also good clues

It is one of the most common issues these trucks have, alongside exhaust manifold tick, cam/lifter failure and corroded TIPM connectors.
