RamBox covers make me itchy!!!

Hi All,
New to forum!!! Working on my sons truck. He has a 2013 1500 outdoorsman with the rambox. Strange thing is when you lean on the tops of the boxes you’ll get itchy like you rub up on fiberglass insulation!! Anyone else have this issue?? Any recommendations to resolve this issue??? Thanks

Not an issue with my 18's Ramboxes.

Inside or outside? If inside the boxes, maybe paint them. If outside, maybe ceramic coat/wax them??

I know some people are really sensitive to fiberglass, so it wouldn't be unusual to affect some more than others.

had a 1500 and now a 2500. I've never had that problem..

They are ABS...not fiberglass. Maybe someone in the past used a product on them you are allergic to
