I have a 2017 Power Wagon and the Rambox lids were not in alignment with the truck bed. Not a huge deal, I guess, but I spent a bunch of money on a new truck and I thought the fit and finish should be better that what it was. Every time I saw another Ram with Ramboxes, I'd take a look at the alignment and most of the time they looked great.
Long story short, I've had my truck at the dealership at least five times for them to make adjustments. Most of the time after an adjustment, the fascia on the Rambox lid starts to pop off. The dealership even had an auto body repair facility replace a complete Rambox lid system and the fascia has popped off. I took the truck back to the dealership this week as they told me they had a Rambox "expert" that had a lot of experience with this issue that would be making the repair. Truck looked great when I picked it back up. Next morning the fascia popped off.
Might be a trivial expectation or request for the Rambox lids to be in alignment with the truck bed, but it bugs me. Maybe I should just give up and accept it is what it is.
I really like having the Ramboxes, I just think there's a flaw in the design by using plack injected molded plastic for the lid. It appears the constant change in temperature causes the lid to twist and flex more than it should.
Rant over. Thanks for listening.
