Does anyone have any idea what this wire is for? I'm guessing it goes to the radio but I tried plugging my phone into it and it didnt do anything, not even charge. I have the extremely basic radio that I don't think he even has Bluetooth.

Definitely not factory equipment. It may go to nothing if whomever had it before you removed an aftermarket radio.

Hmm so maybe there are some factory upgrades I can add using it? I really want to figure out how to get factory bluetooth.

I guess I'll have to take dash apart and figure it out. I just didn't know if maybe it was used for a factory module to provide some feature like bluetooth or something.

"Factory" bluetooth is typically integral to a head unit. That is def something that a previous owner added.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear this. Please let me know if you plan on visiting a dealership for this concern. I would be happy to open a case for you.

Could always just get something like this if your vehicle doesn’t have Bluetooth.

or just get a whole new radio.
