Good morning all. I’m the proud owner of a new to me 2020 RAM 1500 Laramie. This is my first actual truck. Have owned lots of SUVs (JEEP and 4Runners - rebuilt several) but not a TRUCK. My RAM is in great shape, just the sprayed in bed liner is a bit beat up. I’m going to put a quad fold tonneau cover over it but would like to at least paint the bed to freshen it up some - the RAM deserves it. The RAM is a dark, gun metal grey, with a matching colored liner. Black paint would work just fine for me as the tonneau will be black. Question is: can I roll/brush paint the sprayed in liner? If so, what are the recommendations for paint?
Thanks in advance.

I would check with the outfit that sprayed the original bed liner. I would be concerned with adhesion over the longer term with anything like paint applied on top.

Go to YouTube and search for Project Farm. He does great videos comparing different products. He did one on bed liners, did quite a few. Reviews color, texture and strenght. You'll be able to see one that best matches your color and go from there.

Not sure about yours, but I have a lifetime warranty on my Line-X spray in liner. I think most of the bigger names (Line-X, Rhino, etc.) offer that warranty.

I’ve used a spray enamel on LineX in the past and it looked great and held up well.

Thanks all. I used Rustolium flat black to touch up some of the worn areas. I ‘ll monitor those and see how they wear. If all is good, I’ll do the rest of the bed the same. Thanks again.

Line-X offers Renew, it's designed to go over an existing bed liner:

I've used black spray paint, spray die and a light coat of rattle can bedliner to freshen them up in the past. Nothing ever peeled off and all looked the same when finished, but all my liners have just been black. Never colour matched. Looked like a new flat black bedliner apart from the gouges. I have a thicker spray liner I use for filling in any deep gouges before I do the refresh, but I can't remember who makes it at the moment. I know it when I see it at the industrial supplier I get it from.

thanks. I looked into this here locally. The guys wanted $600+, with no warranty as to his work. That is more then I want to spend. May be just a can of black/dark grey Rustolinum will do…….

Well, that’s just what a got - a Husky bed mat. Fit is excellent and it looks good. I put onto the bed and let it sit in the sun for a couple of hours. It’ll work out just fine. I need to touch up the sides and the tailgate a bit.

Photos of the Husky floor mat bed liner. It’s good and fits very well. It‘s just a large fitted piece of heavy duty rubber like material but it works for me .
I also got a set of the Husky Weatherbeater floor mats for the cabin. Photos of the drivers side and the passenger floor mats. These are very good and fit is tight and snug. Two features I’m not crazy about are the edge covers up the frame “RAM“ name logo and the that the rear mat also covers the floor storage box. I can still access the storage box by lifting the mat corner,
