I have to fold my drivers side mirror in when putting both my truck and wifes car in the garage. I've probably folded it in less than 50 times, and the joint is all ready loose making the outer mirror arm shake and rattle. I had to take truck in for a recall and radio issue, so I figured there was a way for them to tighten that joint up. Nope... service tech said its wore out with no way to tighten. So there ordering me a new mirror. I can't believe this thing wore out so quickly. Anyone else have this issue?

I have to fold my mirror everytime I park my truck on the road, at least every night for the last 6 months and mines still tight.

I don't let it slam open or closed tho.

They also bend towards the engine..ask me how I know!

Let's just say it was the first and last time I use just the backup camera to back out of the shop lol! Luckily no damage. Just had to get out and swivel it back to normal!
