Didn't mean to go off...my dog is my prescribed service dog..haha they say for attitude issued after a spinal surgery operation...and she's a certified therapy dog. We do work with the Phoenix foundation and camp cheerful here locally helping kids from the Cleveland metro children's burn unit...and we do nursing homes and even motorcycle charities through our H.O.G. chapter...so Sally..my dog...gets a lot of leeway and is pretty spoiled......Hell I even set her up a facebook page... look up "Sally woof woof" here in parma hts if your bored.

So for this conversion, will there be ducts that run from under the dash, along the top of the trans tunnel and through the jump seat to the back? Does anyone have a pic of what it looks like done? I'm not sure how good it'll look if I have a plastic duct on top of the carpet running from the dash to the jump seat. All the pieces are more expensive so I want to make sure it'll look good before I order anything. I already found a site with all the parts so thanks again for all the info bobbo7915!

Ben

The ducts would have to get run UNDER the carpet...so pull the driver seat out and lift that side of the carpet up for the install. I am unsure if anyone has done this. This is where the parts are designed to be installed so there should be room under the carpet for it all

I dig around online at the various parts slingers who have diagrams until I find the right parts listing the proper vehicles. I have no idea if a 3rd gen was available with a ducted jump seat

One thing I never thought of, I have a quad cab, does this conversion work on those too?

Thanks, I found a console online but the seller said you can't add rear vents to a quad cab even though a console from a crew cab will fit. Just wanted to make sure before buying anything. Thanks again.

Cool, that's why I love these forums. A lot of hands on knowledge which is a lot more reliable. Thanks!

Just curious, I need the piece closest to the dash that connects the console to the main a.c. system. Any chance you recall the cost?

been a while since I did this...the part wasn't all that expensive...finding it is another thing. Since I had no rear A/C I had to buy ALL the vents and the rear panel with the A/C vents in it .... Earlier in THIS post I have the part numbers listed and you can google them...ALL the vent parts were around 80 bucks...I did get a discount being a auto tech for a living ...and then in my case I had to get the rear panel with the vents...that I got on e-bay................In case anyone is interested I still have my original rear panel WITH to universal vents if someone needs them....
