What rear axle came in these trucks? I have a 2016 Laramie 5.7 4WD with the 8HP70 and BW44-44. Trying to find specs on the axle.

I need new rear bearings (clicking noise from wheels) and I want to throw in new axle shafts while everything is out.

It's a 233mm ZF diff.Google should of told you that. Techinically the rear gear is 235 mm's,but it's commonly referred to as the 233mm diff.

The rear differential on a 2016 Ram 1500 measures exactly 9.25 inches in ring gear diameter, which translates to 235 mm (often loosely referred to as 233 mm). [1, 2, 3]
This is the standard Chrysler 9.25" / ZF C235 rear axle used across many 2011 to 2018 Ram 1500 models. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Awesome. I kept seeing both Chrysler and ZF used, wanted to confirm exact model.

Thanks for the detailed answer. That gives me enough info to know which shafts and bearings to order.

They quit using the Corporate diff at the end of 2010,after that they are all ZF diffs.
