Rear axle swap from aam 10.5 to 11.5

Hello to anyone that can help. I have a 2003 2500 5.7 4x4. The current 10.5 is needing a rebuild, but with the plans I have. Id like to upgrade to the 11.5 for gearing options. What I'm asking is will the 11.5 swap in without issues? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Your front and rear gear ratios must match exactly.


Unless you remove the front driveshaft and forget about the four wheel drive.

Both axles will be same ratio. I'm wanting to know will the speed sensor give me an issue with the 11.5 being on place of the 10.5.
