Well I got rear ended by a ford bronco just about an hour ago, truck held up real well, I'm very pleased!
It just bent my bumper in to where the hitch goes on and knocked my Exhaust over a little bit.

Now the only question I have now, should I get a roll pan with or without exhaust cut outs? And are they the same as 2010? I would assume they are since it's still 4th gen.

no roll pan. the 4th gen ones are gaudy.

Get another bumper, and make them get you a nice Magnaflow catback with the 5" tips. LOL

I looked at a roll pan for the new ones and didn't think it was that bad, really looks like the ones for Chevys.

Plus I really want more of a sport look with it!

Just imagine how ****** your truck would look without your bumper right now..............

I like the roll pans, but what JJ mentions is exactly why I'd never do it after being rear ended.

This is actually the first time I've been hit, and my bumper didn't do anything, it was all the hitch under it, the bumper literally curved around that bar lol

you are 17, you'll get hit again........hopefully not too soon.

That roll pan.......you won't have that nice hitch to take the impact.

I couldn't agree more. I ran a roll pan on a couple of my Dakotas. I was just lucky. I've been rear ended twice now. Both times the bumper took all the impact, bought a new one (once) and just re-aligned the other (was in college, couldn't afford it).

Keep the bumper!!! If you're anywhere near New Mexico, and want to buy me a paint-able non exhaust cut out bumper, you can have my perfectly good White Sport bumper. I am not entirely sold on the look of the bumper recesses. I want to have quad square or oval tips (two per side) which I really can't do with the factory indents.

roll pan makes the body line look weird, but it is your truck too.
