Just a short post to say if you have not already done so, adding a rear camera washer is a game changer.
I T’d into the existing windshield washer tube and ran a new length of tubing down into the main frame rail. Ran it through to the back of the truck and then up into the tailgate and attached it to a sprayer that I drilled into the tailgate handle. Now, when the camera gets dirty I can spray it and it is clean again. It’s a game changer. Now full disclosure, if I wasn’t so cheap I would have purchased the kit so this is not my idea but one I borrowed from clearview, link here. https://www.clearvucam.com/store/p/ram-2009-2019-6tldj

Amazon had me all hooked up at about $30.

For free, I give the lens a quick wipe before I start the truck. Do the same to my Wife's suv as well, she wouldn't!. Washer is a good idea if you feel it is worth the work!

Among other reasons,I have a long driveway and I have to back into my garage and in the winter the camera and rear sensors gets covered in snow so this helps ensure I can see what’s behind me.

A little over a third of a mile - dirt & pit run gravel. No difference in garage stall size front or back entry.

I like the idea but I'd never spend the $100 to drill a hole in my truck and have washer fluid running down the tailgate. All I do is wipe the lens off when I close the tailgate or when I walk by it
