How would I know what differential I have? How do I know what to put in to get rid of the one wheel peel and have a little more traction etc.? I want something that is direct fit with no modification. just throw and go

A little more info about your truck would help, year etc. On my 2013 there is a sticker on my rear diff saying what gears I have. If you want to put in a limited slip to get rid of the one wheel peel, there's multiple vendors that offer such solutions.

Hi All,
It seems to me that if you are going to build a hemi powered 4WD then limited slip should be standard equipment, not an option. I can see no situation in which it would not benefit a 4WD to have the LSD. I dunno maybe it's just me.

In that case, I would just add the LSD in the rear axle and leave the gears alone.

There is no direct fit front ring/pinion for your 2013 without replacing your entire front axle, so that is a very expensive and a very time consuming install.

Has any one else seen the schmancy "Orange, Special Edition Something Or Other" at your local dealership? It has hood scoops, racing stripes on the hood, special orange stitching on the inside.

3.21 gears. Total let down.

Yea I was just wanting to replace the rear end differential. Seems to be the easiest and best option.

Is the moe's mopar LSD the only one available. I have looked through the vendors here and haven't found anything else.

The only 2 LSD units available for the 2011-up Ram trucks is the Mopar LSD we have on our site, and Auburn makes 1 as well. They are the only 2 options for that axle.

Unless you want to drop about $3000 to swap front and rear, the 3.55 is what you are stuck with. A 3.92 or 4.10 would be much better, but you cannot just swap in the higher gear ratio up front without also replacing the entire front axle.

I would just get the Mopar LSD for the rear, and stick with your 3.55 gears.

^^^ this is good advice, drop in a Mopar LSD and leave the 355's. Only thing I would add to make up for the 355 is a high stall torque converter.
