I am thinking of getting a set of 96 axles for my jeep to upgrade. Is it possible to put rear discs on a drum 9.25? Will the parts off a gen 3 work?

yes it is. you need to swap out your combination valve with one for 4 disc, or put in your own proportioning valve. (can explain why if ya like, in a hurry atm) as to that axle, i don't know what modifications need to be done. some require extensive mods, others are straight swaps. easiest way is to see if you can buy a rear disc brake kit for the truck the axles are coming out of, or for the axles.

Cool thanks. I know how the proportion inch valves work, and they would be going in a ZJ that had disks already. Will just have to compare the morning pound to my 02 if I get them...
