Anyone got any idea why the rear diff would be popping when turning? Setup is USA standard gear 4.56/yukon duragrip posi. Changed the diff fluid after break in and added the posi additive. On gravel it leaves a mark like the inner wheel is dragging or something. Had the install done back in June.

I would put more additive in it and put one wheel off the road and spin it up some.

When my LSDs start popping, it's time for new fluid and fresh additive. I then find a big parking lot, and do a bunch of figure 8's to really work the fluid in and get the varnish off the plates.

I also get the additive @ ford, as it is the same stuff, but you get 2x as much for the same price, at least around here.

Yup, you need to add another little container of Limited Diff "Friction Modifier".

My Ford F350 would hold and finally release with a 'BANG' like someone hitting the rear axle with a sledge hammer.

Added one little bottle of Modifier fluid from Ford and it was smooth as butter.

It's got 8-10 oz of it in there now. Fluid wasn't long since changed.
