Rear light bar 2010 Ram

I've recently noticed that half of the rear light bar on my 2010 Ram is out. Is this simply a bad bulb that needs replaced or is it something more involved? Any and all info is appreciated.

What sort of lightbar do you have?

From what I can tell, it's a factory light bar, located underneath the tailgate.

It's been next to impossible trying to find information on this in the owner's manual or online.

Ram didn't offer up a factory rear lightbar. I suspect it is an aftermarket one and it's LED, right?

It is mentioned in the owner's manual, but no further information is available. As far as being LED, it honestly does not appear to be.

pictures would be a great help, but 1500 trucks didnt come with any kind of lights under the tailgate

It's odd that you both have said that as I have seen this same set-up on multiple 1500's. Perhaps it's just a coincidence, I don't know. I will take and post pics as soon as I'm able.

many people will install the one from the duallys back there, all the trucks have the spots for them, thats what i did on my 3/4 ton, and i just wired it up
