Just got my new bolts. Stock is M12 1.75 thread 50mm long grade 10.9. I bought M12 1.75 thread 75mm 12.9, which are approx. 1" longer and a higher grade.also got plated so they are less likely to corrode
Thank you very much!

I ordered 90mm black 10.9 like stock, I already put 1 inch spacer in and seat still touches top of sub surround barely so thought a little extra would be better, box I have is tall. Also even after lifting 1 inch seat still won't fold forward. Soon as these bolts come in will finally have some good bass. I did notice after I removed fold flat floor and lifted seat, the stock alpine that I modded some, sounded better.

There's 3 different thread pitches for M12 so hopefully you ordered the 1.75

Ft/lbs or NM. Most seatbelt bolts are in the 35 ft/Lb or 45NM range. I figured since the seatbelt anchors were on the seat bolts it would be similar.

Good to know. I snapped a head off one of my seat bolts putting it back in last time so maybe using a torque wrench this time is a good idea.

I was afraid of something like this if I would have gone with a box made by one of my buddies who does custom boxes. I decided to go with a fox box to avoid all this hassle. My seats fold down no issues. All I need to do now is get longer bolts and I would also like to swap out the MDF spacers for some aluminum or steel ones. It will just help me sleep better at night knowing I have aluminum or steel as a spacer. Here’s what I have below and it sounds amazing

IMG_20180501_125753.jpg I bought them at Fastenal since I had to go there anyways. They didn't have the 10.9 in stock so I went 12.9 in the hex head type. Bag of 10 was 11.90 CDN + tax. They don't have the tapered threads like the oe ones so they're a bit harder to start.

Progress on my seat lift. Load floor is now use able and doesn't vibrate. 3/4" seat lift and 1/4" load floor lift. Still waiting on aluminum, but after mocking up the 1 side I'm satisfied with the resultsIMG_20180503_153857.jpgIMG_20180503_153625.jpg

Box is in now, could have went with a little shorter bolt like 75mm since I had to put 3 washer to keep it from bottoming out. Seat folds, but there is no reasonable space to be used on the quad cab. Just need to mount amp and rest is done.

There is no way those bad boys were in there with 35ftlbs.

have to be, they are done with a federal regulated electric torque gun that is monitored by a computer, if it doesnt reach the minimum torque spec, the computer will fault out and shut the production line down
