My 2018 RAM 4x4 Sport package has them. I live in a winter snow belt (heavy salt use on the roads). I wonder if that plays into the mix? I’d have to check the build sheet to see if they were optional.

My 2019 5th Gen Tradesman does not have the full wheel liner. Just 2 partial ones in the front and back of the wheel well.

I'm probably misunderstanding something here, but all Rams I'm aware of with rear coil springs come standard with rear wheel well liners.

At the time I ordered my Laramie, the rear wheel liners were an option on all trim levels except Limited.

Best regards,
Dusty

my 2012 Bighorn came with them on all 4 wheels-it was bought used from the dealer but the build sheet did not list them as an option and I have the original build sheet. Perhaps trucks shipped for Canada made them standard-no idea really-but my old Chevy didn't have them and salt & slush just got packed in there and it was a nightmare-a very rusty nightmare. I think all trucks now have them in the front and I assumed they all had them in the rear-but if it doesn't then that it one option I would not buy a truck without. On a Laramie I would expect it to be standard if my Bighorn had them-then again it could be a Canadian thing-but New York gets severe winters too!! Either way-make sure you get them "DUSTY"

Upper 2018 trim levels came with wheel well liners already installed from the factory. In 2019, you`ll only get them if they were special ordered for each particular truck. Cost savings at the factory... you`re not paying some guy to lay them in the wheels wells, then the next guy to punch the holding pins into the body. At 35 to 45 bucks an hr to pay the factory workers, thats a huge difference when they could put those two guys somewhere else in the production assembly line. Beans counters likely put the KaBosh to the wheel liners for 2019. One of the boys at my dealer said most were dealer installed now. He said they`re laying inside the truck on the rear floor with the floor mats now. I dont know if i believe that, as i`ve seen a few 19 rams on carriers with the wheels well protectors already in them, but then again, they were upper end longhorn trucks that i saw. Who knows. Buy them in the order package, and they`ll be on your truck when you pick it up at delivery. When you get home, seal them to the truck with silicone. By doing that, i have saved my truck(s) from rusting at the edge of the wheel wells on the box/bed.

im thinking they were standard around my year 2012 + or - on higher trim levels and changed to an option later to lose every ounce of weight to appease the EPA and do everything possible to make RAM mpg as good as possible. A bare stock RAM might shed 500lbs from an upper trim with all the options. Hence RAM could still make all the claims to the EPA on mpg etc. Just my 2 cents.

the weight of accessories must add up fast because my ccsb 4x4 laramie sport with ORP and leather buckets has about 500# less cargo capacity then Ram touts in their ads...1324# vs 1840# or so.

The wheel liners are oem purchased and installed at the dealership. These are my third set of wheels and if I implied that they were factory that was my mistake.

The question is, did they come included as standard from the factory or an option you had to pay extra for?
It was like that the stealership. Nothing seemed being added on the buildsheet. Will double check it

I had to order them as an option on the Rebel. However I live on a dirt road and would never have a truck without them again. I have five months on my RAM with the factory liners and no issues.

^^^. Who are you referring to please ?
DRKness-- Those rims are sweet! and would look even better on a black Ram-not that they wouldn't look nice even on a ford or chev.
