Unfortunately shattered the rear windshield on my passenger side today. I have the sliding glass rear window style, just curious how much you guys paid and if they replace the whole thing or just the panel as it snapped off clean right before the middle section, possibly a three part window? Let me know what you guys have paid, does it come pre tinted, and if I get a whole new one or a piece of one. Thanks guys.

The whole slider back glasses have to be replaced because they are actually cast in a rubberish plastic. And they can be ordered tinted or not. When i worked at the glass shop they ran around 300 bucks.

I also have a slider and i have thought about this also if mine ever was knocked out. i think i would go with a solid back glass but this is just me. I've had problems with mine rattling from my subs and exhaust and i just never use it. I think a solid back glass ran around 175 which is alot better.

Just a little update, 303 to come to my house and install a SOLID back window, figure i never use the slider anyway so why pay an extra TWO hundred for a slider, but also just FYI hemibabe the guy told me if your slider breaks they can just replace that for you, however the other pieces of glasses mean replacing the whole thing, something for you to look into.
