I’ve been around a while now in this world. I’ve not once heard somebody say “hey I’m looking for side step bumpers for my truck” in fact if I did I think I’d get the wtf look from dude at parts counter. Maybe this is a geographic thing? Running boards, nerf bars, side steps. But never heard side step bumpers :bleh:

You and me both brother!

Probably the same WTF look on my face when people call the side steps "boards". There isn't a shred of wood in them. So why call them that??

I call a muffler a “hot air displacement tube”.

I got these: and love them. I didn't want a gap between the board and the truck and like how wide they are with "lugs" for traction or wiping your boots on. Solid steel and bolt right on the RAM. For the price you can't beat them!

That's some funny ******* right there!

I get livid every time I have to use the "Headlight" switch. The only head I've ever found on a truck is part of the engine and there's no lights on it? I think the switch should be labeled "Transparent Plastic Directional Illumination Magnifiers".

Not Westin. Plastic step pads started crumbling apart in less than a year. My pretty 2 year old truck now looks like crap up close. Gonna try to get them line-x'd sometime

I had Westin on my 2001, they were STOUT! Took a side impact from a Lexus, just scuffed the running board, but caved in the fender and light housing of the Lexus. I would have Westin again.

Just finished putting on the Westin Pro Traxx 5 side steps on my new 2018 Ram 1500 Lariame EcoDiesel. Install was easier than I thought as long as you used some common sense and can count pieces correctly things go together pretty well.
