I have installed plenty of these kits on my own trucks and my customers as well. I like to be creative with my installs and hide the compressor and the lines. You can put it anywhere. QWhat up my Ram members,
I am adding a airlift 5000 to my ram along with some other goodies, anybody install one on there truck??

I have mounted the compressors from inside the front bumper on a custom bracket that connects the frame rails together, inside the storage wells in the rear floor, in the lower center console with some modifications and inside toolboxes. I really liked the one I mounted up front behind the bumper on a bracket between the frame rails. I then ran the air lines inside the frame rails to the rear bags.
I always have extra 1/4" air hose around along with the quick-connect union fittings. I think when I did the bumper I had to add an extra 4.0' per side to run it down the inside of the frame rails. This was on a crew cab with a 5'7" box. Thanks for responding , never thought about the front bumper. I might have to look into that. That will definitely help with running the wires. Did you need to buy extra air hose or was the one supplied enough??

With the mount being up front and behind the bumper it is really easy to make the wiring look nice and neat and short.
No problem. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me a message. Thanks for the insight I'm hoping to start installing soon, do you mind if I reach out too you for any questions I may have?

Don't have to use the AirLift but it's convenient if you use the airbags a lot.Do I have to use the Airlift compressor or will a harbor fright 12v cord compressor work?
I haven’t bought mine yet. I will be buying that also with the coming weeks. Pretty excited for it. If you don’t mind, I have a question as it relates to your thread. Do I have to use the Airlift compressor or will a harbor fright 12v cord compressor work? Cost is significantly
less.
God speed.
