I have a 5th gen 1500. I’ve installed 33x12.5r22 toyo a/t tires. I’d like a better shock for driving, as the stock shocks don’t like the heavy tire and the strong side walls make the ride more rough. Any suggestions on a shock that can help with higher speed travel and the stronger side walls of the tire. Thanks all.

The Bilstein 5100's I have on my 4th Gen with 35's got rid of the issues you're referring to that I got from the OEM shocks. The nice thing with the Bilstein 5100's is that they are adjustable so if you want to level your truck, the garage can set them to the leveled ride height while they are installing them.

I just installed Fox 2.0 yesterday on all 4 corners and I'm very pleased. We were getting the filings knocked out of our teeth before. '18 3500 6.7 long bed

Will you be off roading the truck as well or mainly street driven? we have lots of options but before I can recommend something I would like to know how you mainly use the truck. We have lots of options. Send me a message if interested and we can discuss options and pricing.

I just put Bilstein 4600s on my 4th Gen (Same as 5100s, but without the leveling adjustment option and less expensive). Incredible improvement in ride and handling on the street. The closest to offroad I usually get is occasionally going across pastures on a friend's horse farm. I did the rears myself and let a shop do the fronts as I don't have the tools to do them properly/safely.

With your ride problems the best shocks may be the Rancho XL as these can be individually adjusted in seconds until you get the firmness you want. I put them on my 2500 truck so when I have a heavy load in the bed I can set the shocks firmer than when the bed is empty.
