I originally posted last spring about the transadapt kit leaking from I blown out pin hole in the casting, and they sent me another right away which took care of the problem. I used cheap ebay 10 AN fittings which worked well for awhile, but late this summer I've developed a small leak that I can see on the garage floor...a drip, maybe a half a teaspoon after I shut the truck off and it sits for awhile cooling down. When I inspected I couldn't tell exactly where the leak is, just generally wet, you know the way a leak will blow around and spread from the wind at road speed. Most likely the fitting? Anybody else had an issue with their fittings?

I installed on October 11 2020, so just over a month. Just used what came with the transdapt kit. Only mod was some hose clamps. So far so good, no oil loss. Not a lot of time on it yet so take my anecdotal evidence fwiw.

So i bought viton oring and proper AN parts. problems gone. Hopefully no issues in the next few years.

I've had both the single and dual kits on my truck, neither have ever leaked, but i upgraded both the hoses and fittings to -10 (5/8") from the -8 (1/2") hoses and fittings they come with.Use good quality hoses and fittings with a smear of pipe thread sealant where the fittings screw into both the filter adapter and remote filter mount and you shouldn't have any leaks

I installed the 1127 kit on my Ram this past Saturday. Fired it up and had oil pouring onto the driveway. There is a hole in the casting of the engine block adapter. I called Hedman and they told me to contact Amazon for a replacement. They would not cover anything for all the lost oil I had to drain down before I could remove the adapter. Not to mention I had to cut the hoses because they would not pull free from the barbed fittings.

Isn't this the second time you've bbitched about the adapter.I'm pretty sure you whined about this a year ago.How many times are you going to repeat this story. I'm pretty sure the last time you posted this,i told you they were mass produced cast aluminium adapters, that they've been making for as long as i can remember,so they're going to have the odd one not up to par. BTW you're the only guy i know who's ever had one leak, think i also told you that once already to. If i was really bored,i'd look up your old post, but i'm not that bored tonight, lol
