Hey guys, idk what thread to put this in so I’ll put it in general for now, I bought this truck back in may 2024 and since I’ve had it the remote start hasn’t worked, I didn’t really think of it all year but now in February in Alberta I’m gettin -30 and -40 for weeks at a time and I’d really like my remote start to work, I tried attaching 2 videos I took but apparently I can’t so I’ll just explain the best i can. It’s a 2011 Ram 1500 sport with the 5.7 Hemi
When my trucks warm, it’ll start up and seem like it’s running, but then after it runs for a couple seconds it’ll start to slowly die and just shutoff
When it’s out in the cold, it’ll just Crank for like 10 seconds but won’t turn over
It’s weird because I have no issues starting with the key in the truck, and we just rewired my fuel pump so it starts with the ignition properly now, so I have no idea what else it could be. Also, my engine light isn’t on so it shouldn’t be something to do with that
