Remote Start stopped working

On my 2017, 3 lock clicks and now I get nothing. Haven't even tried it since last winter but I don't know what to check or what could have caused it?
Is there a place to go in AlphaOBD that I can 'reset' it maybe, or check that it's still set to "ON"?
I never had a problem before.

3 lock clicks sounds like an aftermarket remote start system. Maybe look up under your dash and see if you find anything aftermarket wired in somewhere. I doubt AlfaOBD would be able to do anything for you on an aftermarket remote start.

The OEM remote start has a separate remote start button on the FOB, and you only push it twice to remote start.

does your FOB have the little x2 button on it?

No, bought truck used in 2019, that sounds about right tho.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to I guess. If that's the FOB I'm supposed to have for a 2017 with OEM, then I guess I have aftermarket.. THANKS

Some look like this, but the OEM remote start button is the same. 2x.

Low on fuel or a check engine light on will prevent the remote start from starting your truck

I believe the hood latch needs to be shut and wires need to be clean or it will trigger the remote start to stop working as well. It will not start with the hood open or that circuit corrupted in the wiring.

First easy thing to do,would be to replace the battery in the fob,and go from there

Just fixed remote start on 2017 ram. Turn key to run and off 5 time the press unlock button. Lights on dash board blinked .
Took key out and got out of truck ,remote start worked.
