The hardest part doing it this way is similar to the rears, getting the pop clips to actually let it pop loose and then not dropping the light and damaging it or something else.

I found 2 layers of green painter's tape on the fender and on the edge of the light and using a panel popper tool works best.

I held one hand on the front of the light and then reached through flip up door in the fender and pushed on the back of the headlight bucket to get it to release from the ball stud.

Freakin awesome!!! I may go ahead and install the RetroShop bulbs I have had for my projectors for months now. Just didn’t feel like dismantling the entire from end just to change bulbs.

Thank you.

Am I the weird one. I find it soooo much faster and all around easier to just pop out the 4 10mm bolts and be done with it lol.

That’s the way I do it 4 bolts 2 small pops and remove the headlights done.
What I don’t like is the 2 outside bolts. I think it’s chicken **** the way those are done. So easy to strip out.
