I received the trim pieces today. I will post some pictures after I install them.

I installed one side, but a storm kept me from doing the other. I had to ream out one of the holes in the floor, to get the two halfs to fit. No big deal, as the floor is made of fiberglass. I will try to get the other one done tomorrow.

Sorry , it took so long to get back. I was planning on replacing the second set that Patrick sent me, but I have been unable to figure out how to get the undamaged factory ones off. I don't want to damage the unbroken ones , so I think I'll leave them there for now. If anyone knows an easy way to get the factory ones off without breaking them , please let me know.

I started this whole process by sending him a PM. It took a while for him to respond , but it is a part-time job that he's doing with his daughter.

I am very happy with the part that patricks created.

If you are replacing the breaking prone OEM ones, why would you want to save it?

The OEM one still remaining can be popped off with a screw driver but will be ready for the trash can when done.. That's how I did mine. I also screwed on from the back so the screw heads don't show. Took all of 15 minutes start to finish.

Hi indyNick glad they worked out.
Just like " 04fxdwgi" said. Use a screwdriver and pop right off. If you look at the oem trim they are held together with a snap.. ( kinda reminds me of a zip-tie) my trim are a little bit beefier than the oem and also. I did want to note. When you install my style the screws should be facing down when the floor is UNFOLDED flat. If you look at each piece I sent they are marked " top & bottom"

I did it this way to try and keep the oem look as close as possible. Did you receive the mystery gifts?

Yes I did. Thanks. My granddaughter loved the Ram wheels, and my wife though the screw driver was cute.

I finally found the unbroken factory half, and I see the tabs you are talking about. I will get that a try.

I installed your parts with the screws facing up, when unfolded. I did not want to see them, when the floor was folded.
