Replacement Valve Body and Solenoid

Well, I think the solenoid went bad on my 2013 Ram 1500 with 65RFE.
The transmission goes in Drive and Park but doesn't go in Reverse.
I found there's a TSB related to the Solenoid for this issue.

So now, I'm thinking about replacing/upgrading the Valve body as well.
I came across the below valve bodies. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Go to Rock Auto or Summit Racing and look for the Sonax Valve Body replacement. It's all stiffened up with better-sealed piston rings, etc. They had been on backorder.

You will need to to a transmission re-learn after replacement. This has been validated by a member.

Why not get a VB kit and have it installed into your current VB that is unless its fubared sop you need a new one...

How is it easier if you can't find one to buy? Have you went to Sonnax website to see if they have a distributor or parts house near you...

I was actually able to order a VB with solenoid pack from https://www.transmissionpartsdistributors.com/.
Waiting to ship.

Just makes sense to replace the valve body while your in there IMHO. I would use mopar replacement.

This is one of the stuffs that it makes sense to upgrade from Mopar’s unit.
