replacing chrome bumper with painted

I have a chrome bumper it has a dent in it and I want to replace it with a painted bumper. Is it hard to change bumpers ? mine has the fog lights, I was not sure if it was just a few bolts or if it was something a little more serious

if you are talking the sport bumper like mine its not an easy bolt to bolt direct swap...if you are talking a painted metal pumper like on the trx models yes that is a bolt to bolt direct swap

It's not hard, I think it's about 4 bolts holding it to the frame and a dozen or so holding the bumper brackets to the bumper

I have a big horn slt, and they make a plastic bumper that looks just like the metal bumper its just plastic so you can paint it, I just want to swop them

If it's for your year and model, it SHOULD fit just right.
Part quality will make it harder or require modifying.

Are you talking about the bumpers like on the st, trx/outdoorsman, and laramie longhorn? If so those are still metal and a straight swap. The ones on the express and sport are plastic and need all new supports and brackets to swap
