So, a stupid bird was flying along and hit my mirror as I was driving 65 down the highway. in doing so, he removed the lens from the puddle lamp/signal in my mirror. Unfortunately, the lens was lost and so is the reflective backing. I now have just the back half and the LED strips remaining (of which the puddle lamps are going out).
I have heard this can be replaced and have found the part # but dang, $85 or more everywhere I look.
has anyone done this replacement before? most of the references I have found show the tow mirror puddle light but not this larger one.
I am looking at PN 68064949AA. Does anyone have a used one they would like to part with? this is for the DRIVERS side of my 2009. Standard chrome mirrors.
