I think you need to put ignition in start right before starting engine and press gas pedal three times, then turn off and on all the way. I believe that resets it, I have a different procedure for every car it is getting jumbled in my head, I think that's it for the Ram, resets the oil light. or are you asking something different?

Kinda asking a different question, I looked at mine last night and it said I have 87% life left (probably not in those words), but I want to change my oil now with the Amsoil I have waiting so if I could reset it prior to it needing it then that would be great so I can stay on track... If that makes sense, I supose I could go out and see for myself but I'm watching drag racing right now :favorites13:

Yes, doing that procedure should reset the light and makes the EVIC think you changed your oil whenever you do it regardless of whenever you change your oil. I'm sure you truck will treat you better if you run that Amsoil, good stuff dere.
