Resetting and reprogramming Keyfob

I totaled my 2014 Ram 1500 in early February when I hit black ice (UGGGHHH!) and I just recently found and bought another 2014. I was hoping maybe someone could help me with my key fob situation.
The new truck I bought came with only one key fob, amazingly. I have 2 extra key fobs from my totaled Ram and would like to reset them and use them as spares for my new Ram. Anyone have experience with this? Is it possible to do this myself or is this only possible to be done by a dealer?

Once a key fob is programmed to a vehicle it can't be reprogrammed to another vehicle. But, I did read a post awhile ago that said it is now possible but haven't verified it as true. You would have to check with a dealership or a local locksmith to see if it is possible.

They took away the ability for the owner to program key fobs back in 2011-2012....

They hook a computer up to the truck and have to program the key fob to the truck.
