Retractable running boards

When washing the vehicle, I want the boards to be out. I only located auto & store option.

How do u wash yours?

Convert, for now.

When they pop out and you close door, before they retract, put your foot on it and it will lock it open to wash them. Then when done, open door and it will retract like normal.

Isn't there a setting on radio to retract or extend steps. My system does. Might want to look into it

I thought there was only the setting to "store" them so they don't extend (e.g. winter/snow time), and regular (auto extend/retract) mode? I did not see any settings to keep them extended in the big screen. I've been using the step-on method.
