I know a couple of you have done this already. I have a spare kit, and want to install it in my tails for reverse lights. Which bulb fits, and what do I need to to?

I haven't done it yet, but I will very soon (as in I have the HIDs I just need time). Best of my understanding you just have to tap into the reverse light wiring that's already there for power and that's pretty much it.

One of the down sides to 5% tint....I'm going to have mine to a switch so I can use as rear aux lighting if I need it.

Exactly! I cant see **** outta my back window at night.

And seeing that I so happen to have an H3 kit here (was going to use them for the Hellas), I might do it this weekend!

Now what has to be trimmed, glued, etc?

Between tinted tails now, factory tint on the back window and a quad cab with a long bed it's pretty tough to see back there, I'd like all the light I could get
Throw a livestock trailer on and try just lookin out the back window lol

ive got hids in my reverse lights, the place that did my heads n fogs installed them. its a universal bulb with a rubber grommet, no cutting or glueing. they are only 15 watt hids so i leave them on at night when hooking up my trailer, your standard 35 watt hid kit will end up burning up the chrome releflective inside the lamp.. i paid 100 bucks installed for the kit.. anyone interested lmk
