rock chip? what do i do.

i got a nasty rock chip, its the size of a small pencil eraser, and it's starting to rust....what do i do? color match paint it?

I would use Napa Rust Converter and touch up paint. IMO, the only other option is to repaint the whole panel.

That's all you can do. Touch up is pretty good now days if you do it right.

Touch up paint should fill it up, might need to do it in a couple of applications.

You going to have to fill it in to level it with the original paint.

I've heard good things. I planned on using soon to fix on my chips on the lower sides of my truck.

What was wrong with it?

Then let the insurance handle it.








Totally kidding BTW..... I've had Insurance for 30+ years (homeowners and auto)
And never cost them a dime.... Which makes rate increases that much more frustrating.

To this point... I've been an Insurance Company's wet fricking dream.

When I would use the blending solution it would just wash away the touch up paint.
