Does anybody know any differences with shift knobs between 1500 and 3500. B&M makes a billet knob but says it won't fit a 3500 8 speed, what could be the difference?

The B&M shifter is for the 4th gen trucks only

Fits 2013-2019* (*Classic body) RAM trucks with dash mounted gear selector.

Take a look at the AJT design knobs, they make them for 5th gens

Not a fan of the knob. At all. Nor how easy it is to bump it into 4wd if you're trying to navigate out of a parking space, watching your mirrors and cameras, to make sure the 20' long truck doesn't bump into anything.

Thanks JB1 , perfect, I keep reaching for AC knob when shifting, this should help.
