Ruined a fog light assembly..

HID bulb jarred loose and melted in to the reflector and may have ruined the connection "port".. Grrr..

May be time to retro these then. I need to get behind it and get pics to see whag my options are.

Thoughts.. Matchbox projectors, or should i go LED cube style retro? Will either of these be doable if the back of the assembly is ruined?

cube would nee do have the bowl on the fog cut.......

I'm not a huge fan of the cubes in fogs myself.

We use the matchbox in these. I need to get some numbers crunched, but I believe they will run the same as the 09-12s ($545 as of today). Thats new lights, projectors, labor, HIDs, shipping.

Any way to make these work?

I highly doubt it. The width of those is 147mm. The mini H1s are 87mm......and I did get one stuffed in a fog once.......it barely fit.......and was a pita to shove in there

Typically I would agree, they'd take about 3x the work to nab in one of these fogs though. Might be something we move to on these when we are in our new shop and have some more room for a traditional aiming methods.
