Running board rivnuts

Does anyone know what size riv nuts are required to install the factory running boards on a 2024 3500? I have all the bolts so I don't need the whole hardware kit.

chances are that your hardware is Metric, instead of SAE.

walk into a hardware store with your nuts in hand ....

I believe that the Rivnut for your Ram, will be

NUT/RIVET. Hex Drive. M8x1.25x17.78. Mounting.​

I don't know if Rivnuts come in different hardnesses.

Personally, i think the hardware should be Grade 8,
but you might chose Grade 5 hardware

chances are that 12 are needed, buy a couple extras
in case the threads are messed up
