Disappointed. I totally read the title of this thread as "Busty Red" :naughty:

Just fix them. A clean bed is big bucks because they are hard to come by. They notoriously rot out and Dodge refuses to admit they screwed up. It's a design flaw, they all rot sooner or later. Obviously salt belt trucks rot out a hell of a lot faster. I just fixed mine. Took me 2 days to do both sides. Mine were bad too.

How did you fix your rusty wheel wells? Cut it out, and replace it with a patch panel? Or do a complete bedside? Have any pics?

My ******* never took good photos.
I should've.

Anyway, I cut the bad stuff out, hand fabbed my own patch panels and finished off with some bondo hair and Evercoat Gold. Solid as a rock and straight as an arrow. I treated everything with metal prep and various rust coatings like Por 15.
I also bought and installed the wheel well liners which should prevent this from coming back anytime soon or maybe ever again.

Truck had fender flares so didn't know exactly how bad the panels were until I removed the flares. Holy crap. I knew they were bad, but damn they were like really bad. Whatever. They came out so good I'm not putting any flares back on. Like nothing was ever wrong.

Took me a weekend to do both sides.
