2016 Ram 1500 5.7 H 4x4. where is the equipment code plate located on my truck. Trying to find out what instrument cluster I need. I have the Premium DID.

I'm not familiar with an equipment code plate. We both may learn something new here . Until someone else steps in to offer guidance with that, you might try typing your VIN into the Equipment Listing page to see if it offers you what you desire.

I’ve got that. I need the the code list. They‘re in the glove box on my GM. They’re a combination of 3 letters, and, or, number.

I can not remember seeing what U R referring to in a Chrysler Vehicle. I searched and cannot even find a ref to FCA, almost all GM and maybe Ford on 1. But maybe I learn something new.

No equipment code plates that I've seen on any of my Rams. Use the equipment listing link that @Dredger provided in post #2.

I think what you are looking for is what was called a "Fender Tag" that listed all the options installed from the car from the factory (engine, trans, rear, paint color, trim, etc). It stopped in 1980 and don't think I've seen a replacement since.
