If I didn’t have ram boxes I seriously consider that for hunting. Could pull it out of truck. Put in garage. Load up gun and gear. Put some scent killer/cover in. Then lock it and put in truck when leaving in AM. Get to field and put case on ground, gear up and bam...

agreed, there are lots of ways to come up with something. I am not handy enough to make it look as well polished as the Chevy example though.

the "DECKED" system is really nice too, and you can make a DIY version too but it doesn't look as finished as the Decked system.

I have sought something like this for years! My 2011 was available from the factory with RAMBOXES (I think) but mine doesn't have them. Finding a 6-4 box with RAMBOXES is virtually impossible in the used market. Entire system was listed under p/n 82209778, and has been superceded in the latest catalogs by 82215517 for the 5-7 bed and by 82215518 for the 6-4 bed. Both look a lot like the "Decked" system we've all seen already, and they're priced around 12 to $1400. Very attractive to my sense of "looks" but I don't want to give up any vertical in my bed. I also want to preserve the 48" minimum between the wheelwells. So, for me, still no solution, but if anybody finds a real nice 6-4 RAMBOX bed in bright red...........

I’ve Truly enjoyed it. The toolbox has taken a beating, and still looks amazing, and is 100% waterproof.

The cover has a lifetime warranty on all parts. I do get some leakage at the rear corners, but outside of that, It’s been great. That’s why I recommend it over and over.
