I have not carried a spare for about a year. <knock on wood> However i can still put mine back in it's stock location. Might have to as the Nitto DR's will have some puncture resistence but not as much as a street tire of course. I also have my trusty AAA card with 100 miles free towing lol.

Dan,
Mine won't fit anymore. The hitch really made it tight if not impossible and I sealed the deal by routing my exhaust through the ares needed for the tire. Anyway, I figured if I had a flat I'd never be able to get the tire out from under the truck. Haven't had a flat for a very long time and then I cut two tires at the same time so I was stranded anyway... Maybe I'll just carry a can of fix a flat and call it good.

I swear everytime I take my spare off for whatever reason I get a flat.
