shifting hesitation

hello folks,

Own a 2017 ram 3500 (aisin 3.42 transmission).
it all of sudden during shifting from 3rd to 4th it hesitates, rpm goes up and down a few times before shifting... it happens 80% of the time.
i’ll contact ram this week but just wanted to know if anyone else has experience the same “problem”...
i have recycled the tow/hall and exhaust brake.
maybe a computer reset?...
any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I have a 1500 5.7 and my hesitates going from first to second almost every time I drive it. It only does it once then its smooth as could be.

Sounds like a little fluid is bypassing the valve body plate. Mine did that, dealer said it was normal, transmission shuddered terribly when shifting even under medium throttle input so I put in a BD Diesel plate kit and got some EFI transmission tuning. Worked wonders.
