Sorry guys/gals but I didn't want to post this in the "lifted" or "lowered" sections, as I didn't feel either applied.
I'm swapping out the OEM shocks for the KYB "Gas-A-Just" line. Found the deal was to good to pass up on. The Bilstein's(4600HD series) were at around $325 for the set of (4). KYB wanted $211 for the set I just purchased from Shock warehouse. $11 discount, then $40 mail in from KYB...free shipping = not a bad deal for KYB's step up over their stock replacement series "Excel-G".
How hard are these to swap out? I didn't get any "strut" per say(no coil)...but the website said these fit my truck. To be clear, I'm getting (4) shocks. Is that correct? Am I to use the existing coil springs up front?
Did I go wrong with KYB Gas-A-Just shocks(do they make a good shock)? Just wanted to get some thoughts...and/or confirmations on the topics above. I'm used to the Bilstein 4600HD series in the past.
Thanks in advance for the words.
