I have been reading that it is better to use the standard R/T front shocks instead of the SP shocks supplied by BT. The stock shocks control the ride better. What about the rears? Use the SP's or the stock RT shocks. Thanks for the help. Any other helpful info?

they told me the same thing but i dont think you will have enough room inside the shock to compress or decompress and if your truck ever bottoms out your shocks will not be happy and have to be replaced. IMO

How is your BT kit holding up? Are you still happy with it? Are you using the SP shocks? Thanks.

Yes, I posted that the stock front R/T shocks are better than the BT shocks. They are the same length as the BT shocks also. If you look on the BT site the shocks they sell are not truck specific, they are generic for most lowered trucks. I used the rear BT shock because they ARE shorter and I am not sure if the rear shocks are any different the the standard RAM shock.

I had the "wiggle" also until I put the R/T shocks back on, now it is much better, but still slightly there.

Do you have measurements to show that not that I'm saying your lying I'm looking for replacement shocks again because they all suck. And if what you say is true that the rt shocks are the same length then I can use them on my 3/5 and do you have a on on them since I don't have my original ones anymore

Sorry, I don't have the measurements, I have both shocks and put them next to each other and they were the same.

I would describe it as a "floating" feeling like a boat in the ocean. When you are cruising at speed and start hitting bumps the truck starts to rock back and forth / side to side like a boat sitting in the water. It's nothing scary just very unerving and uncomfortable.

What's this "wiggle" you guys are talking about?
