Shorties or Long tubes??

I’m wanting to buy some headers to replace the manifolds on my 2010 Ram because broken bolts and I was looking for a recommendation on shorties or long tubes. No intention really to race but want best performance. I have my exhaust dumped before Axel with 14” MagnaFlow muffler, would that negate some positive effects of long tubes? Already have high flow y pipe and re-worked full flow pipes under oil pan, would this heighten effects of shorties? I have trinity t1000 along with vararam air grabber.

Best performance hands down long tubes. Gain power and torque the entire curve. Shorties are for those who ha e to deal with emissions bs if that's not you avoid them

IMO shorties are for replacing the junk manifolds with somthing that works better and by that I mean something that does not warp and break bolts ,something that flows better and something thats bolt on with less or no changes to anything else and are cheaper.


Long tubes are the better way to go just cost more .lol

I have JBA shorties.... only because of emissions testing in MA. Go with LTs if your state allows... and if it doesnt.. go with ARH LTs. I hear they pass emissions.
