I have a very basic TPMS on my 2018 Ram 3500 dually. It shows pressure, or lack thereof. I'm installing a TPMS on my travel trailer which will sense leaks, slow leaks, very fast leaks, and tire temperature fluctuations as well; it's more sophisticated than the TPMS on the truck. Can I install some of the aftermarket sensors on the truck, or will it conflict with the TPMS the truck already has?

Shouldn't be a problem. I have a set of aftermarker sensors that I haven't gotten around to installing yet.

They say they do not need to be programmed. But I'm going to record the ID and keep track of which sensor goes where just in case. I expect I'll be able to program them with my Aplha OBD.
