Should I turn MDS on for my trip?

As the title says. Im going on a trip and wondering if I should just tune it for the trip. Im just wondering how my hemi is going to do on a long road trip. I only drive her in town.

My trucks 100% a ok to go. Oil check, tranny fluid check, brake fluid check, full tank of gas with some Lucas complete tune up... etc but I really should have rotated and balanced my tires. If I have time, will a Firestone in another state do an alignment and rotation/balance since I have a lifetime alignment and balancing that I bought here in texas?

I wouldn't, it doesn't really help mileage, just looks good to the epa on paper. Dunno about the Firestone deal, wouldn't see why not if you had the paperwork proving you have the life time.

On the highway my MDS would scarcely engage. I have ran the same 300 mile trip several times, and the last time I did it with the MDS off and still averaged close to 20 mpg.

I'd probably turn the MDS back on (if I had MDS, LOL.) at least just one way to see if it actually made a difference. If the **** doesn't make an MPG difference on the open highway, then it is truly useless.

I've changed my tune from Performance to the Economy one on my Superchips for trips before, figuring I'm just gonna be burning a few tanks of gas on the highway, within a couple of hours. Interestingly, I've always done better with the Performance tune left on and using 93 octane gas, even though you'd think that for just cruising the interstate, with no load in the truck, the economy tune would do best...
