Since I am doing the exhaust soon, should I keep it as a single pipe or do duals. If I do duals, it will be a y-pipe after the muffler and it will be exiting at opposite sides with the same exhaust tips (of course). Then the cutout will be between the muffler and cat. If I did trual duals, it would get too pricey so it's either go the y-pipe route, or keep it as a single exhaust.

I can just get another 7.5' pipe from Duane and a y-pipe if I do this. What do you guys think? Dual or stay the same?

Steve, how you set up the exhaust is strictly a personal choice. Decide how you want it to look and sound and do it.There are a lot of SI/DO SI/SI mufflers to choose from. You might even consider grafting a 10/11 rear bumper and cat back system that someone has taken off their new truck for a updated look. Good luck....

IMO I wouldnt do the Y pipe to split it into duals, I'd either do what you have or dump it just over the axel. But thats what I would do, if you want to do something different go for it, its your truck and your cash so make how you want to make it.
