Regarding the side window deflectors that mount internal as opposed to sticking on the outer door: How do they do this? There seems to be little or no room for the deflector flange to fit inside where the window meets the upper inside slot in the door. So how do they mount? it the plastic flange thinner than thre rest of the deflector? or does it fit inside and the window forces its way "home" when you shut the window. It seems to work, but at what cost? Is there a forced entry every time you colse the window? And does it leave any wear on the glass? The glass is obviously harder, but if someone tints their window, I would think that could make things messy. But I guess the tint is on the inside and the plastic def. flange is on the outside. Inquiring minds want to know.
